Reflection

Truthfully I've been slacking since my first blog post. As you have undoubtedly noticed, the entire website has a new look and the logo has been updated! Don't worry, the signature photo watermark will still be around. I officially introduce to you, CPaulshock Media.

The past two months have been a whirlwind. Yes, race season technically ended for most of the country, but that meant networking and preparation season officially started. I attended my first Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Tradeshow and I could write an entire entry about that experience alone. I'll keep it brief and say that I walked away from that show with renewed confidence in what I started this year and where I could go in 2020.

Alongside E3xtreme, I have partnered with Bradenton Motorsports Park to promote U.S. Street Nationals in January and have come on board as Social Media Coordinator for Menscer Motorsports. I have started dabbling in Photoshop (any tips or pointers welcomed!) and added gear to my collection. I've got some projects in the works that I am super excited about and absolutely cannot wait for next season to start.

If you follow my Facebook or Instagram pages then you know that I started 2019 as a spectator. I could count on one hand the number of races I attended in 2018. Damon found me at Lights Out in February 2019 and that one meeting changed the rest of my year. By May I had a camera in my hand, covering some of the best races for one of the most recognizable media outlets out there. September came and I found myself on the starting line for No Prep Kings, and try as I might, I don't have the words for that series or those people. My people.

I write this as the month, year, and decade end. Happy New Year everyone! All I can say is thank you, for an INCREDIBLE 2019. I hope you all continue to follow my journey in 2020, and I look forward to everything headed this way.
